TOPIC: JUBILEE   MEMORISE :  That then the LORD thy God will turn thy captivity, and have compassion upon thee, and will return and gather thee from all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath scattered thee. Deuteronomy 30:3   READ : Leviticus 25:25-28 25 If thy brother be waxen poor, and hath sold away some of his possession, and if any of his kin come to redeem it, then shall he redeem that which his brother sold. 26 And if the man have none to redeem it, and himself be able to redeem it; 27 Then let him count the years of the sale thereof, and restore the overplus unto the man to whom he sold it; that he may return unto his possession. 28 But if he be not able to restore it to him, then that which is sold shall remain in the hand of him that hath bought it until the year of jubile: and in the jubile it shall go out, and he shall return unto his possession.   MESSAGE Jubilee means emancipation, deliverance, or restoration. In Leviticus 25:8-10, God commande...

TOPIC: RAISING GODLY BOYS MEMORISE : Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it. Proverbs 22:6 READ : 1 SAMUEL 2:18-26 18 But Samuel ministered before the LORD, being a child, girded with a linen ephod. 19 Moreover his mother made him a little coat, and brought it to him from year to year, when she came up with her husband to offer the yearly sacrifice. 20 And Eli blessed Elkanah and his wife, and said, The LORD give thee seed of this woman for the loan which is lent to the LORD. And they went unto their own home. 21 And the LORD visited Hannah, so that she conceived, and bare three sons and two daughters. And the child Samuel grew before the LORD. 22 Now Eli was very old, and heard all that his sons did unto all Israel; and how they lay with the women that assembled at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. 23 And he said unto them, Why do ye such things? for I hear of your evil dealings by all this people. 24 Nay, my sons; for it...

TOPIC: MIND YOUR FOOTPRINTS III   MEMORISE :  And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed. Hebrews 12:13   READ : Matthew 5:14-15 14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. 15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.   MESSAGE Today, technology is advancing at an incredibly rapid rate. Technological innovations spring up every day, and people are scrambling to keep up. While it is essential for us as Christians to be at the cutting edge of what God is doing in our various industries and fields, allowing the Holy Spirit to guide us as we navigate this digital age is much more crucial. Beloved, no matter how fascinating a technological innovation might be, you must always remember that you are first a child of God and an ambassador of God's kingdom. Sadly, some Christian...

TOPIC: MIND YOUR FOOTPRINTS II   MEMORISE :  A good man leaveth an inheritance to his children's children: and the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just. Proverbs 13:22   READ : Matthew 7:16-20 16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? 17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. 19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. 20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.   MESSAGE If a fellow constantly takes the wrong steps in life, there is a high tendency that his or her children will do the same. However, if the fellow takes good steps in life by making the right decisions, his or her children will also have a greater chance of taking good steps in life. This is because children naturally follow their parents' fo...

TOPIC: MIND YOUR FOOTPRINTS I   MEMORISE :  Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us. Hebrews 12:1   READ : Galatians 6:7-8 7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. 8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.   MESSAGE All human beings on earth leave their footprints in the sands of time. While some leave negative footprints, others leave positive ones. The actions you take today are the footprints you are leaving behind, and they will determine your future. Today's Bible reading says that you will reap whatever you sow. Just as you cannot plant onions and expect to reap apples, you must be intentional about the seeds you sow in your journey t...

TOPIC: THE NAME OF JESUS   MEMORISE :  Neither is there salvation in any other: For there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Acts 4:12   READ : Philippians 2:9-11  9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: 10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; 11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.   MESSAGE Many years ago, my driver and I were travelling from Ibadan to Ilorin, a city in the North- Central region of Nigeria. There was a narrow bridge along the way, and only one vehicle could drive on it at a time. Therefore, drivers had to wait for any vehicles that were coming from the opposite direction of the bridge to pass through before they could get on the bridge. When we reached the foot of the bridge, we observed that no vehicle was com...

TOPIC: BLESSED ARE THE PERSECUTED   MEMORISE :  Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. 2 Timothy 3:12   READ : Matthew 5:10-12  10 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. 12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.   MESSAGE A Christians will experience tribulations in the world (John 16:33), and being persecuted is one of the tribulations that every true believer must face. It is true that persecution is naturally unpleasant; however, it is a thing of joy to know that Jesus promised in Matthew 5:10 that those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake are blessed and will inherit the kingdom of heaven. Today's memory verse says that every believer who...
