TOPIC: PERMEATING ANOINTING MEMORISE : The LORD will perfect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, O LORD, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands. Psalm 138:8 READ : 2 Kings 13:21 21 And it came to pass, as they were burying a man, that, behold, they spied a band of men; and they cast the man into the sepulchre of Elisha: and when the man was let down, and touched the bones of Elisha, he revived, and stood up on his feet. MESSAGE In Mark 8:22-25, Jesus spat on the eyes of a blind man, laid His hand on him and asked if he could see. The blind man looked up and said that he saw men as trees, walking. Someone else would have been content with this miracle – at least the blind man could now see. However, Jesus touched the man a second time, and he began to see properly. That is a good example of how the anointing is meant to flow through the life of the anointed. TOPIC: GOD’S COVENANT OF PROMOTION MEMORISE But my horn shalt thou exalt like the horn of an unicorn: I shall be anointed with fresh oil. Psalm 92:10 READ : Psalm 75:6-7 6 For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. 7 But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another. MESSAGE The devil often uses the promise of promotion to lure people into making covenants with him. For example, I have heard of cases where those in authority would ask someone due for a promotion at work to enter into an evil covenant by joining a secret cult before the promotion is granted. MESSAGE Holiness is living a life that reflects God’s character, and it is the major weight of a covenant with Him.
