Proverbs 15:27 READ: Proverbs 1:17-19   17 Surely in vain the net is spread in the sight of any bird. 18And they lay wait for their own blood; they lurk privily for their own lives. 19 So are the ways of every one that is greedy of gain; which taketh away the life of the owners thereof MESSAGE : Proverbs 1:17-19 says he who is greedy of gain laid wait for his own blood. He ambushes his own life. God says you are waiting to destroy your own life when you are greedy.  Proverbs 15:27 says the one who is greedy of gain troubleth his own house. You create a problem for your family when you are greedy. Children can get into trouble because their parents have been greedy. MESSAGE : Today is Christmas Day and l am sure many Christians around the world are celebrating and planning to eat  some 'Christmas chicken'. TOPIC:  OVERCOMING LUSTS AND TEMPTATION MEMORISE:  Abstain from all appearance of evil. 1 Thessalonians 5:22  READ: 1 Corinthians 10:13  13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. MESSAGE What is leading you in life? Is it your flesh or the Spirit of God? Whenever you allow the flesh to give you direction, it will always ends in regret, but when you allow the Holy Spirit to lead you in all things, you can be sure that all will be well. The first step to overcoming lusts and temptations is submission to God, which supplies the power you need to resist the devil, and he will flee from you according to James 4:7.
