Genesis 1:3 READ: James 1:17 17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. MESSAGE: Let there be light “Let the darkness of sin disappear” because sin is terrible form of darkness. No one can possess the pure light except from God, the Father of lights. The reason is that man was sold to the darkness of sin as a result of the fall at Eden. However, God provided salvation for mankind through His only begotten Son Jesus Christ. This is why the Bible says: “Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. ” John 8:12 The above Scripture simply means that the cure for the darkness of sin is Jesus Christ.
