TOPIC: SPIRITUAL EYES II MEMORISE :  Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law.  Psalm 119:18 READ :  2 Kings 6:15-23  15 And when the servant of the man of God was risen early, and gone forth, behold, an host compassed the city both with horses and chariots. And his servant said unto him, Alas, my master! how shall we do? 16 And he answered, Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them. 17 And Elisha prayed, and said, LORD, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the LORD opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha. 18 And when they came down to him, Elisha prayed unto the LORD, and said, Smite this people, I pray thee, with blindness. And he smote them with blindness according to the word of Elisha. 19 And Elisha said unto them, This is not the way, neither is this the city: follow me, and I will bring you to the man...

TOPIC: EVERLASTING SOLUTION

MEMORISE
“For with God nothing shall be impossible.” Luke 1:37

READ: Acts 3:1-11

1 Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour.

2 And a certain man lame from his mother's womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple;

3 Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked an alms.

4 And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, Look on us.

5 And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them.

6 Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.

7 And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.

8 And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.

9 And all the people saw him walking and praising God:

10 And they knew that it was he which sat for alms at the Beautiful gate of the temple: and they were filled with wonder and amazement at that which had happened unto him.

11 And as the lame man which was healed held Peter and John, all the people ran together unto them in the porch that is called Solomon's, greatly wondering.

MESSAGE:
There are certain conditions that people call long-standing problems. These are problems that have lingered for so long that it seems there is no solution to them. Well, I want to introduce you to the One who is older than the oldest. He is the Everlasting Solution to every long-standing problem because He has been in existence long before any problem existed.

Today's Bible reading tells us of a man who was born lame. When you hear that a grown-up man was born lame, you know that it is a long-standing problem that no one has been able to solve. As Peter and John were about to go into the temple, he asked them for alms. Peter said, "Silver and gold, I have not, but I will give you what I have." Then, he said, "In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk." Suddenly, the man who had never walked all his life began to walk and jump and praise God. The Bible says that when he entered the temple, everybody looked at him in amazement because they all knew he had been lame since birth, and none of them had imagined that there was a solution to his problem.

In Mark 5:2-19, we read of a madman who was living in a graveyard. He had been mad for a while, and everybody knew him; he seemed to be a hopeless case. Then, he encountered Jesus Christ, and with just one word, he was set free. When the people in the region came and saw the man who used to be mad, sitting, well-dressed, and in his right mind, they were afraid. The Everlasting Solution came on the scene and solved the man's long-standing madness instantly. Likewise, in John 5:1-9, there was a man who had an infirmity for thirty-eight years. This man had a permanent spot by the Pool of Bethesda, and every time the angel came to stir the water, he missed his opportunity to be healed. However, when his long-standing problem encountered the Everlasting Solution, it disappeared immediately.

Beloved, if you have been encountering problems that have lingered for a long time, Jesus is all you need. He is the Everlasting Solution to every ancient problem, and He is willing and able to put an end to all the problems you might be facing once you have genuinely submitted your life to Him.

PRAYER POINT:
Lord Jesus, please visit me today and bring an end to any longstanding problem in my life.

BIBLE READING IN ONE YEAR:
EZEKIEL 16 - 17

HYMN 21 - MY HOPE IS BUILT ON NOTHING LESS
1. My hope is built on nothing less Than Jesus' blood and
righteousness;
I dare not trust the sweetest frame,
But wholly lean on Jesus name.

CHORUS:
On Christ, the solid Rock, I
stand;
All other ground is sinking sand,
All other ground is sinking sand.

2. When darkness seems to veil His face,
I rest on His unchanging grace; In every high and stormy gale,
My anchor holds within the veil.
CHORUS:

3. His oath, His covenant, and blood,
Support me in the whelming Hood;
When all around my soul gives way,
He then is all my hope and stay.
CHORUS:

4. When He shall come with
trumpet sound,
Oh, may I then in Him be found; Dressed in His righteousness alone,
Faultless to stand before the throne.
CHORUS:
