TOPIC: THE GAINS OF GOD'S COVENANT 2 MEMORISE Wherefore it shall come to pass, if ye hearken to these judgments, and keep, and do them, that the LORD thy God shall keep unto thee the covenant and the mercy which he sware unto thy fathers: - (Deuteronomy 7:12) READ : Genesis 20:1-18 (KJV) 1 And Abraham journeyed from thence toward the south country, and dwelled between Kadesh and Shur, and sojourned in Gerar. 2 And Abraham said of Sarah his wife, She is my sister: and Abimelech king of Gerar sent, and took Sarah. 3 But God came to Abimelech in a dream by night, and said to him, Behold, thou art but a dead man, for the woman which thou hast taken; for she is a man's wife. 4 But Abimelech had not come near her: and he said, Lord, wilt thou slay also a righteous nation? 5 Said he not unto me, She is my sister? and she, even she herself said, He is my brother: in the integrity of my heart and innocency of my hands have I done this. 6 And God said unto him in a dream, Yea, I know tha...

TOPIC: TO EARN TRUST

MEMORISE
The integrity of the upright will guide them, But the perversity of the unfaithful will destroy them. Proverbs 11:3

READ: 1 CORINTHIANS 4:2

2 Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.

MESSAGE:
Trust is like a delicate thread that takes time to weave, but can unravel in an instant. Building trust is one of the most valuable qualities you can have in any relationship. You need to develop honesty and strong moral character to gain and keep trust. When you're honest and dependable, people know that they can count on you. Getting people to trust you starts with small actions, such as showing up when you say you will, keeping your promises, and being honest even when it's difficult. These daily choices form the foundation of trustworthiness.

Some actions that demonstrate trustworthiness include being punctual, following through with commitments, and staying loyal to friends. However, in the process of building trust, a fellow is bound to make some mistakes. If you find yourself in that situation, the best thing to do is to own up to your mistake(s) quickly, apologise, ask for forgiveness, and take steps to make things right.

Don't break people's trust through dishonesty, betrayal, gossip, or neglect because it will be hard to rebuild. The process of rebuilding trust often takes longer than it did to earn it in the first place. That's why ensuring that you do not break the trust that people have in you is as important as earning it.

REFLECTION:
Can you be trusted?

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR:
MATTHEW 18:21-35, GENESIS 11-12
*HYMN 8 THROUGH THE LOVE OF GOD OUR SAVIOUR*
1 Through the love of God our Saviour,
all will be well.
Free and changeless is his favour,
all, all is well.
Precious is the blood that healed us,
perfect is the grace that sealed us,
strong the hand stretched forth to shield us,
all must be well.

2 Though we pass through tribulation,
all will be well.
Ours is such a full salvation,
all, all is well.
Happy, still in God confiding,
fruitful, if in Christ abiding,
holy, through the Spirit’s guiding,
all must be well.

3 We expect a bright tomorrow,
all will be well.
Faith can sing through days of sorrow,
'All, all is well.'
On our Father’s love relying,
Jesus every need supplying,
in our living, in our dying,
all must be well.
