TOPIC: DIVINE HEALTH   MEMORISE:  Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. 3 John 2   READ : Isaiah 55:10-11 10 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: 11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.   MESSAGE Psalm 105:37 tells us that when the Israelites were leaving Egypt, not a single one of them was feeble, meaning that the young and old were healthy and strong. Those who had suffered in the hands of the taskmasters suddenly became strong and healthy as they ate the Passover meal and prepared to leave Egypt. If God divinely healed people who had been constantly beaten and maltreated before they ca...

TOPIC: FULFILLING PURPOSE

MEMORISE:
For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell on sleep, and was laid unto his fathers, and saw corruption: Acts 13:36

READ:  Ephesians 2:10

10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

MESSAGE
Every human being on the surface of the earth was born for a purpose. I know this because God does not do anything just for the sake of doing,it; there is always a purpose behind His actions. If He made you and put you on this earth, then there is a purpose for your life.

Unfortunately however, many people don't end up fulfilling the purpose for which God brought them into this world. One of the reasons is that many never even get to know their purpose in life. Another reason is that even when some discover their purpose, they get distracted by the devil and end up pursuing other things rather than the purpose of God for their lives.

There are certain features that God built into you - your talent and gifts. You need to discover them and then go back to God to tell you what they were built into you to do. Joseph's talent was to interpret dreams and administer resources. He managed Potiphar's resources so well that Potiphar put all his possessions in Joseph’s care. He also interpreted his fellow prisoners’ and Pharaoh's dreams correctly. However, his purpose was to save the world from starving to death in famine.

...but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is a his day, to save much people alive.
Genesis 50:20

When you have discovered your gifts and asked God how those gifts should be used to fulfill your purpose, take note of one thing which the devil uses to distract many people - selfishness. The only way a person can fulfill his purpose in life is if he is selfless. A tree bears its fruit for others to eat and that is how it fulfills its purpose. Your purpose is not to amass wealth for yourself but to impact lives. If you pay attention only to needs, you would not fulfill purpose, but if you pay attention to meeting the needs of others, then you would fulfill purpose. If you are ready to make sacrifices just so that you can impact the lives of other  people positively, then you are on the path to fulfilling purpose. The lives you impact, the souls you win for Christ and your good works will be recorded in heaven (Revelation 20:12). That is all that will matter when you are gone.

REFLECTION
Ephesians 2:10 says you are God's workmanship created to do good works. How many people have you done good works for recently?

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Jeremiah 21-24

HYMN 13: MY HOPE IS BUILT ON NOTHING LESS

1 My hope is built on nothing less
Than Jesus Christ, my righteousness;
I dare not trust the sweetest frame,
But wholly lean on Jesus’ name.

On Christ, the solid Rock, I stand;
All other ground is sinking sand,
  All other ground is sinking sand.

2 When darkness veils His lovely face,
I rest on His unchanging grace;
In every high and stormy gale,
My anchor holds within the veil.

3 His oath, His covenant, His blood,
Support me in the whelming flood;
When all around my soul gives way,
He then is all my hope and stay.

4 When He shall come with trumpet sound,
Oh, may I then in Him be found;
In Him, my righteousness, alone,
Faultless to stand before the throne.
