TOPIC: UNDERSTANDING HARVESTS MEMORIZE : While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease. Genesis 8:22 READ : Mark 4:26-29  26 And he said, So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground; 27 And should sleep, and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and grow up, he knoweth not how. 28 For the earth bringeth forth fruit of herself; first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear. 29 But when the fruit is brought forth, immediately he putteth in the sickle, because the harvest is come. MESSAGE The first thing to understand about harvests is that they ultimately come from God. 1 Corinthians 3:6 says, "I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase." Also, harvests come in different levels, which Jesus identified as thirtyfold, sixtyfold, and hundredfold (Mark 4:20). Some Bible scholars believe that a thirtyfold harvest results from...

TOPIC:  FROM PROPHECY TO DECREE

MEMORISE:
For he spake, and it was done; he commanded, and it stood fast. Psalms 33:9

READ: Psalms 33:8 -9

8 Let all the earth fear the LORD: let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him.

9 For he spake, and it was done; he commanded, and it stood fast.

MESSAGE
There are some differences between a prophecy and a decree. When a prophecy comes, that is a promise and when God makes a promise, He will definitely fulfill it at the appropriate time and with the proper conditions. However, when He makes a decree, the fulfillment is immediate and without any conditions. The prayer of every Christian should be that God should turn every prophecy into a decree in their favor.

Abraham had received the prophecy that he would be a father of nations, but somehow the fulfillment was taking time to manifest. The day Abraham invited God to eat, every prophecy concerning childbirth became a decree. That day, He brought what was to come to 'now'. In John 2:1-11, at the wedding in Cana of Galilee, Jesus' mother told Him the hosts no longer had any wine. He told His mother, "My time is not yet come", but not long after that, 'not yet' became now. In 2 Kings 4:8-17, when Elisha decreed to the Shunnamite woman that she would have a son, even though she didn't believe him, it came to pass.

A decree set aside your doubts and unbelief. It goes ahead to do what was spoken while a prophecy, on the other hand, requires you to believe and even pray sometimes for it to come to pass.

There is a prophecy God has declared concerning you that He cannot bring to pass because He is the Almighty. Matthew 3:9 says: He is so mighty that He can even bring children out of stones. He so mighty that He can literally reverse the irreversible because, in Romans 4:16-19, the Bible says the womb of Sarah was already dead. If you want to see that prophecy manifest immediately. It needs to become a decree. How do you get God to turn His prophecies concerning you into decrees? Simple: offer unto Him what He delights in, Psalm 59:13-14 says "will l eat the flesh of Bulls, or drink the blood of goatskin? Offer unto God thanksgiving; and pay thy vows unto the most High".

Sing praise to God, thank Him from the bottom of your heart, do His will. If you do these so much and so well that it touches His heart, He will turn prophecies to decree in your life.

PRAYER POINT
Father, please turn every prophesy I have received to a decree in my favor in Jesus name.

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Daniel 9- 11

HYMN 17: O LORD MY GOD, WHEN I IN AWESOME WONDER
O Lord my God! When I in awesome wonder
consider all the works thy hand hath made,
I see the stars, I hear the mighty thunder,
thy power throughout the universe displayed;

Then sings my soul, my Saviour God, to thee,
how great thou art, how great thou art!
Then sings my soul, my Saviour God, to thee,
how great thou art, how great thou art!

When through the woods and forest glades I wander
and hear the birds sing sweetly in the trees;
when I look down from lofty mountain grandeur
and hear the brook and feel the gentle breeze:
Then sings my soul…

And when I think that God, his Son not sparing,
sent him to die – I scarce can take it in
that on the cross, my burden gladly bearing,
he bled and died to take away my sin:
Then sings my soul…

When Christ shall come with shouts of acclamation
and take me home – what joy shall fill my heart!
Then shall I bow in humble adoration
and there proclaim, ‘my God, how great thou art!’
Then sings my soul…
