TOPIC: UNDERSTANDING HARVESTS MEMORIZE : While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease. Genesis 8:22 READ : Mark 4:26-29  26 And he said, So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground; 27 And should sleep, and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and grow up, he knoweth not how. 28 For the earth bringeth forth fruit of herself; first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear. 29 But when the fruit is brought forth, immediately he putteth in the sickle, because the harvest is come. MESSAGE The first thing to understand about harvests is that they ultimately come from God. 1 Corinthians 3:6 says, "I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase." Also, harvests come in different levels, which Jesus identified as thirtyfold, sixtyfold, and hundredfold (Mark 4:20). Some Bible scholars believe that a thirtyfold harvest results from...

TOPIC: MOUNTAIN- MOVING FAITH I

MEMORISE:
And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. Mark 11:22

READ: Matthew 21:21-22

21 Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain

22 Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.
And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

MESSAGE
I believe that the most potent force in the world is a Christian's faith. There is no mountain that your faith cannot move. In Mark 9:23, Jesus Christ said:

... If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.

When Jesus says 'All things, He really means ALL things. This is why, whenever you need something from God, you must not allow any form of doubt to creep into your heart. James 1:6-7 says that if you doubt, you shouldn't expect to get anything. When someone told Jairus that his daughter had died, the Bible says:

As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, he saith unto the ruler of the synagogue, Be not afraid, only believe.
Mark 5:36

In the Scripture above, Jesus wanted to ensure that Jairus' faith was intact, and because he remained in faith, before the day ended, his daughter, who had died, came back to life.

In Matthew 15:2 1-28, a woman came to Jesus, crying for help. Jesus ignored her and acted as if He couldn't hear her at all. However, at the end of the day, He turned to her and said, "Woman, great is thy faith." In other words, He was saying that even if He had not wanted to grant her request, He would grant it because of her great faith. If you can only have faith, all things are possible to you.

When you read through the Bible to study those whom Jesus healed of their sicknesses and diseases, you will notice He often makes this statement - "Thy faith has made thee whole." In essence, what made them whole was their faith in the fact that Jesus had the power to heal them.Those who didn't have faith didn't get many miracles (Matthew 13:58).

Beloved, when you come to Jesus for something, I want you to have it at the top of your mind that the One whom you have approached is the creator of the entire universe. He can snap His fingers, and the whole world will disappear.

He once brought water out of a rock. There is absolutely nothing that He cannot do. What you consider as a very big problem is too insignificant to be a problem to Him; just rest in the fact that you have brought the matter to the Almighty God who can do all things (Jeremiah 32:27), and start rejoicing.

KEY POINT
If you can just believe, you will experience great miracles.

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Leviticus 26-27

AUTHOR: PASTOR E. A ADEBOYE
HYMN 21: MY HOPE IS BUILT ON NOTHING LESS
1. My hope is built on nothing less
Than Jesus Christ, my righteousness;
I dare not trust the sweetest frame,
But wholly lean on Jesus’ name.

Chorus:
On Christ, the solid Rock, I stand;
All other ground is sinking sand,
All other ground is sinking sand.

2. When darkness veils His lovely face,
I rest on His unchanging grace;
In every high and stormy gale,
My anchor holds within the veil.

3. His oath, His covenant, His blood,
Support me in the whelming flood;
When all around my soul gives way,
He then is all my hope and stay.

4. When He shall come with trumpet sound,
Oh, may I then in Him be found;
In Him, my righteousness, alone,
Faultless to stand before the throne.
