TOPIC: ACCELERATED AND EXTRAORDINARY PROMOTIONS MEMORISE : For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called: 1 Corinthians 1:26 READ : Joshua 1:1-2 Now after the death of Moses the servant of the Lord it came to pass, that the Lord spake unto Joshua the son of Nun, Moses’ minister, saying, 2 Moses my servant is dead; now therefore arise, go over this Jordan, thou, and all this people, unto the land which I do give to them, even to the children of Israel. MESSAGE The word ‘minister’ in the olden days basically referred to a servant who ran all sorts of errands for his or her master. Such errands would often include emptying and washing the master’s chamber pot, doing the master’s laundry, washing his feet, and the like.
