The fire of the Holy Spirit is not only for the selective destruction of your enemies while guarantying your protection; it’s also for consuming stone. This we see in 1 Kings 18:38-39. Elijah, after challenging the prophets of Baal to a duel on Mount Carmel, prayed. The fire of the Holy Ghost fell on the stones where he offered sacrifice and consumed the sacrifice and stone on which they were offered. The children of Israel seeing this fell on their faces and decleared the Lordship of Jehovah. Today, the fire of the Holy Ghost consumes hearts of stone as promised by God in Ezekiel 36:26. Fire additionally is required in the bonding and welding of strong metals. When the Holy Spirit descended on the heads of the apostles and disciples on the day of Pentecost, it was not only to empower them but also to bind them together in unity. The Holy Spirit is an agent of unity. You can measure the presence of the Holy Spirit in an assembly by the level of unity operating in their midst. How united are you with other believers? If you truly have the Spirit of God, it will be easy for your minds to be set on one thing, to speak with one voice and to do things together for the common good (Romans 12:16). In all, the colour red points to the essence of God asthe giver of life, Salvation, Deliverance, Victory, the Purity, the Selective destroyer, Consumer of Hearts of Stone and the Unifier.
Another rainbow colour from the dispersal of white light is yellow. Yellow is the colour of Gold. Gold speaks of the self-sufficiency of God. In Haggai 2:8, God says:
The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the Lord of hosts.
In Psalms 24:1, we read that the earth and its fullness belongs to God. Every precious thing is contained in the earth. So the One who owns the earth with everything in it as well as own the heavens is unquestionably the richest personality in the universe. Being the richest, there is nothing you ask that He cannot afford. Even if it does not presently exist, He can create one for you. Are you lacking in any area of life? The lord will embarrass you with His blessings as He promised in Deuteronomy 28:1,11,12. Are you financially blessed and you think you have reached your peak? Wait a minute! With God, the peak of man’s achievements is the starting point for God. The Lord will take you to a level that will embarrass you thoroughly. Wealth and abundance is your portion because you serve the All-Sufficient God.
PRAYER POINT:
Father, reveal yourself to me as the All- sufficient God.
