NO WEAPON Monday 1 October 2012

God’s promises give us a wide scope of expectations. When God is protecting you, it covers every area leaving no stone unturned. Usually, the devil or any of his agents such as herbalists, false prophets, witches and wizards or occultists could team up with your enemies against you. This is not strange and do not be frightened because of their number. According to His promises, every gang up against you shall meet their waterloo. In fact, Isaiah 54:15-17 assures you that God will never join your enemies against you. Be aware that He is in every evil gathering to know their plot and find out a way to frustrate them. You have a divine representative in every meeting of the evil ones. While they are planning to ensure you, He is planning to reverse their plan. Every evil plan of darkness against you this season shall be destroyed. Similarly, in Isaiah 8:9, God says every association against you shall be broken in pieces and whatever they use to strengthen themselves in their plot against you shall meet the same fate.

Do you know that God is aware of all the weapons your enemies want to use against you, whether visible or invisible? God knows all their workings and abilities and He promises to withdraw their ability to function against you. Wherever there is a bomb scare, bomb disposal experts are employed who know the different types of bombs and their effect on mankind. They help in early detection and detonation of identified bombs. The same applies in the area of firearms. The Almighty God being the Manufacturer of all manufacturers, Creator of all creatures, including wasters such as the devil and his cohorts, says “no weapon”, this means no weapon, can harm you. No gun or bomb or any other device can harm you except with His permission if you are living for Him and you are walking in total obedience to Him. Another weapon is the tongue as it is capable of kindling much fire and destroying an individual’s reputation through gossip, slander, backbiting, curses, lies, etc. Yet in Isaiah 8:10 and Isaiah 54:17, God says no tongue can stand against you. Arise and hold on to God’s unfailing promises and silence any tongue that has risen against you.
