VISIONS OF GOD Friday 7 December 2012

Memorise: And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God. Acts 7:56 Read: Mark 1:9-11 If the doors of Heaven are open to you, you will most likely see visions of God like Ezekiel (Ezekiel 1:1). What you see affects you in tremendous ways. Many people are in hell today because of what they saw. They are now regretting seeing what they saw. The progress or otherwise of many people is as a result of what they saw. If you see heavenly visions, your mind will be more focused on Heaven, pleasing God and working for your crown and other rewards. When you see the visions of God, you will become ambitious about becoming great in the Kingdom that never ends. What are you seeing? Where are you looking at? In Acts 7:56-60 when Stephen looked up, he saw the visions of God the Son. ARRESTING DEMONIC PRESENCE Thursday, October 11, 2012

MEMORIZE: And they cast out many devils, and anointed with oil many that were sick, and healed them. Mark 6:13 READ: Acts 16:16-18 Demons and idols bow in the presence of our God. If you study how demons related with Jesus Christ and His disciples in the Bible, you will observe that they recognized God’s presence in Jesus Christ and His disciples and they surrendered without much argument. I have always told my children that if we have enough of His presence in us, demons will flee when they sight us, how much more when we command them to go. In Mark 5:1-6, when Jesus stepped on the shores of the Gergesenes, a very notorious, heavily demon-possessed mad man immediately reported to Him even before He said a word. It is very easy to cast out demons when your life is full of God’s glory. The devil and his demons once stood in God’s presence in Heaven but because of their rebellion, they lost that chance. When Jesus came to earth, it was to bring the dominion of Heaven to earth. C

FINGER OF DELIVERANCE Tuesday, October 9, 2012

MEMORIZE: But if I with the finger of God cast out devils, no doubt the kingdom of God is come upon you. Luke 11:20 READ: Luke 11:14-20 In the course of this month, we have studied that the finger of God can be an early warning sign or a sign that God’s judgment is imminent and inevitable. This is not exhaustive of what the finger of God is or can do. The finger of God is also a medium for casting out devils. When the Pharisees accused Jesus of casting out devils through Beelzebub the chief of devils, He replied: But if I with the finger of God cast out devils, no doubt the Kingdom of God is come upon you. Luke 11:20 It is not the shouting of commands or acrobatics that expel demons but the finger of God. Whenever somebody or something good is born, the devil assigns something or some forces to terminate that life. When Moses was born, Pharaoh was all over town seeking his life. FINGER OF JUDGEMENT Tuesday 2 October 2012

Daniel 5:5   Read Daniel 5:1-5, 24-30 The finger of God can be an early warning sign from God, which if disregarded, it could bring full weight of judgement. When the magicians, sorcerers and wise men of Egypt got to a point in the miracle versus magic contest where they could go no further, they were the ones who announced to Pharaoh, “ Sir, that last miracle is beyond our magical powers. This can only be done by God” (Exodus 8:16-19). They warned and left the scene. If Pharaoh had received that warning, he and his people would have been spared but because he rejected it, they perished. Romans 3:4 Read: Lamentations 3:22-23 Apart from grace, one other thing God is unlimited in is faithfulness. Lamentations 3:23 says His faithfulness is great. God is not only faithful, He is incurably faithful. Being a faithful God entails fulfilling every promise made. It also means that in any situation that requires inputs from man and God, when man has done his, God will of necessity do His. In most agreements involving God and man, if there is a breach, it can never be God; it always comes from man if only you take the pain to look beyond the surface. 2 Timothy 2:13 says even if all human beings deny God today, and all His children betray Him, God cannot deny Himself. God expects us to live a debt-free life ( Deuteronomy 15:6 ). Psalms 37:21 says it takes a heart of mercy to return what is borrowed. This implies that if you borrowed something or some money but fail to repay out of choice or you do not make serious effort to repay, you lack mercy, you are heartless and wicked. You are simply repaying evil for good done to you. What does the scripture say about that? Until you gave your life to Christ, you were in control of your life and you were free to do whatever you liked with it. But the day you give your life to Jesus, it means you have decided to be a boarder in Jesus house and as a result, you must abide by the rules operating there. Psalms 91:1 says: He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. Everyone in God's boarding house is assured of protection.
